Yuma, who is likely eight years old, and Leila were rescued from a backyard breeder in Arizona. We believe Leila is Yuma's daughter. The two are inseperable.
They are now is the care of our partners Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. Yuma was found to have masses on her mammary chain, one of which is size of a lemon. We are sponsoring Yuma to help pay the cost of the surgery to remove the masses and also to spay. The surgery was performed today and we're told she is doing well. Yuma is spending the night at the vet's office as a precaution, but will then go home with an SCGRR foster family.
