Jack is a 1.5 year old Pekingese who was slated for euthanasia due to a severe eye infection. Our partners Home for Good Dog Rescue saved Jack from the kill shelter where they found him in Augusta, Ga.
Jack made a trip to the vet where it was determined that the eye was causing so much pain and discomfort that it needed to be removed. That surgery has taken place and Jack is recovering. He will soon be headed to New Jersey for adoption. His prognosis is excellent and he is expected to lead a full and happy life.
The Tess McIntyre Foundation is sponsoring Jack and has made a donation to cover the cost of his surgery. The foundation is a 501(c)3 charity. One hundred percent of the money donated to the foundation goes to helping dogs like Jack, as we have no administrative or marketing expenses.
