In memory of Bill McIntyre

and his beloved dog Tess.

Izzy was found in an abandoned home in Burke County, Ga. When she was rescued by our partners at Home for Good Dog Rescue, this one-year-old Boston Terrier mix appeared to have been both neglected and abused. She was emaciated, about 10-pounds underweight and had two decubital ulcers on her backside from being kept in a crate.

We’re providing funding to pay for the antibiotics needed to treat Izzy as well as spay, microchip and vaccinations. A Home for Good foster is providing the safe environment that is allowing Izzy to recover. She’s gaining weight and we’re told she’s recovering faster than most. Before long we expect to hear about a healthy Izzy being adopted into her new home.
