Finnegan was rescued from Augusta (Ga.) Animal Control where he was targeted for euthanasia due to a severe skin condition. He is a young dog, probably about a year old, and had been brought to the shelter as a stray. Our partners Home for Good Dog Rescue pulled him out of the shelter and took him to a vet. He was diagnosed with demodectic mange and a secondary skin infection, The prescribed treatment involves medication for the mange, an antibiotic and medicated baths. He will be receiving the treatment at HFG's facility in Aiken, S.C.. According to the vet "In a couple of months he'll look like a different dog."
Thanks to our donors we are able to sponsor Finnegan and pay for his treatments as well as getting him all the necessary vaccinations and neutering.
