SAVING A FAMILY OF SEVEN

family of seven dogs

Our partners at Home for Good Dog Rescue saved this family of seven from almost certain euthanasia in Augusta, Ga., where they had been turned in to animal control. The mom, Patty, and dad, Red, both had severe mange when they were found. The parents and their five puppies were all suffering from a condition called flea dermatitis which results in rashes and loss of hair. The puppies also have parasites.

There are two male puppies, Bruce and Harley, and three females, Zelda, Charley and Tess.

The Tess McIntyre Foundation is sponsoring this canine family. We are providing funding for the medical treatments and for neutering/spaying for all. It is expected that they will be staying at Home for Goods Aiken, S.C., care facility for about a month before being transported to New Jersey and placed with a foster family awaiting adoption.

The Tess McIntyre Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity that raises money to support rescued dogs that are in need of medical care before they can be adopted into new homes. Donations to the foundation will help us to help other dogs like Patty, Red and the quintuplets.

Donations to The Tess McIntyre Foundation are tax deductible. The Tess Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charity.
