and his beloved dog Tess.

Saved at the Eleventh Hour

Faith

Faith became homeless earlier this month when her owner turned her over to a municipal shelter in Philadelphia. ACCT Philly is a high kill shelter and Faith was facing possible euthanasia until our partners Eleventh Hour Rescue were able to take her and three others dogs from the Philly shelter.

All of the dogs were placed with one of Eleventh Hour’s foster families, but Faith turned out to have some medical issues. She was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and had a mass on her underbelly. We’re supporting Faith and our partners by donating funds to cover her veterinary bill. She received treatment for the infection, had the mass removed and biopsied, and had her teeth cleaned and polished.

Faith is now recovering with her foster family and we recently got good news concerning the biopsy. The removed mass was not cancerous.

As soon as she recovers, Faith will be available for adoption. Our partners inform that she is friendly, active and playful, good with both people and other dogs and an accomplished fetch player to boot.

Eleventh Hour Rescue is based in Morris County, N.J. They rescue dogs and cats from high-kill shelters and care for them in foster homes or in their kennel until they can be adopted.

The Tess McIntyre Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity that raises money to support rescued dogs that are in need of medical care before they can be adopted into new homes. Donations to the foundation will help us to help other dogs like Patty, Red and the quintuplets.
