In memory of Bill McIntyre

(1946-2019)

and his beloved dog Tess.

Diamond

Flossy

Diamond was surrendered to our partners at Eleventh Hour Rescue by an owner who no longer wanted her. They would later learn that during her 10 years of life she had never been to a vet and had been bred repeatedly.

The people at Eleventh Hour feared for her life when she first came to the rescue. She barely had a heartbeat and collapsed. They took her to an emergency vet who determined that she likely had a stroke or brain tumor.

We’re happy to report that Diamond is recovering and doing well at the Eleventh Hour kennel, although she still has a number of medical issues that need to be treated. These include infections in her ears, mammary masses, a urinary tract infection and a large mass on her back.

Diamond has a lot yet to overcome. We are helping out by making a contribution to offset some of her considerable medical expenses. Despite the way she has been treated, our contact at Eleventh Hour describes her as “the sweetest girl you'll ever meet."
