Denver was turned over to our partners Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies by owners who loved him but couldn’t afford the care that he needed. This 2-year-old had sub arctic stenosis (a congenital heart condition) and suffered from two bad hips that needed surgery.

The Tess McIntyre Foundation has sponsored Denver to help pay his very substantial veterinary bills.

Denver’s hip surgery was successful. He will require heart medication for the rest of his life and needs to be kept from extremely strenuous activity. But he has already been adopted and is in a loving, permanent home.
