In memory of Bill McIntyre

(1946-2019)

and his beloved dog Tess.

Cleo

Cleo the dog

The first seven or eight years of her life have not been happy ones for Cleo. Stuck in a hoarding situation in Aiken County, S.C., she was kept outside, overbred, undernourished and given no care. Our partners at Home for Good Dog Rescue recovered Cleo when the old man who was hoarding her and other animals passed away.

We’re determined to do what we can to make sure she enjoys a happy and comfortable life for her remaining years. The foundation is sponsoring Cleo to help with the cost of her medical care which includes surgery, medication and various treatments.

Cleo has a tumor in her backside that needs to be removed. She has severe dermatitis that needs treatment. Her front teeth are missing and require dental work. And she has a hematoma in her left ear that requires surgery.

Cleo will be staying at Home for Good’s Almost Home Wellness Center in South Carolina while she undergoes treatment and recovers. She’ll then be transported to New Jersey where she will be adopted into a loving home.

Tess McIntyre Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity that raises funds to support rescue dogs that need medical care in order to restore their health and prepare them for adoption. Donations to the foundation will help us help more dogs like Nemo and his brothers and sister.
